8 Wrestlers Advance to OHSAA District

The boys competed at the OHSAA Sectional Wrestling Meet at Sandy Valley High School on Saturday, finishing as the sectional team runners-up. Seven wrestlers advanced to next week’s OHSAA District Meet at Coshocton High School.

Individuals advancing to next weeks OHSAA District Wrestling tournament at Coschocton are - Jack Bucher (113) 4th Place, Logan Slatzer (120) 4th Place, Keaton Beucler (157) 2nd Place, Aidan Lantzer (175) 4th Place, Johnny Olihan (190) 4th Place, Dylan Stevens (215) 2nd Place, and Joey Benson (HWT) 2nd Place.

Both Chase Smith and Bronson Brown finished 5th and will serve as alternates for next weeks OHSAA District Wrestling tournament at Coschocton.

The Lady Falcons competed at the OHSAA Sectional Wrestling Meet at Claymont High School. Senior Kaite Berresford placed fourth and advanced to the OHSAA District Meet at Mentor next weekend. Kylee Lantzer finished fifth and will serve as an alternate at the District Meet.
